An independent senior Australian Rules football (AFL) club based in inner-west Sydney (Newtown). The Breakaways welcome all players and have multiple men’s and women’s teams. The club prides itself on inclusivity and community spirit.

A social golf club for LGBTQIA+ players, friends and family in Sydney. The Rainbow Golfers play weekly rounds (Sunday and Friday) on various local courses. Open to all ages and abilities, the club fosters a welcoming, accepting atmosphere.

A gay-friendly social netball club (often called SHNC Snakes) founded in 2002. The club formed around the Sydney Gay Games and now fields teams in local competitions. It prides itself on a fun, inclusive environment and frequent social activities.

Australia’s pioneering gay-inclusive rugby union club (founded 2004) based in Sydney. The Convicts train and compete in local rugby competitions, and they advocate for anti-homophobia in sport. Home ground is Rose Bay (collaborating with Woollahra RFC).
