Distance: approximately 4-7 miles with an option to be done at 4 or take an extra loop for 7ish miles total. Ride type: Mountain Bike Group- all levels, though all mountain bike group rides require some experience or comfortability riding off road. This still includes beginners and bikes are available to borrow for the ride! What to Bring: Your mountain bike, a helmet, whatever clothes/gear you would typically ride in, and water.

Sunrise Work Party: Outright On Land!

The Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival will take place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, in Burlington, Vermont, along the shores of Lake Champlain. The event is a community dragon boat festival supporting cancer survivors and local charities, including Dragonheart Vermont and the Cancer Patient Support Foundation. Racing divisions include Community Teams, Breast Cancer Paddler Teams, and Sport Teams. Races for Breast Cancer and Sport Teams begin at noon on Saturday, August 8th, with all teams racing the 200-meter course on Sunday, August 9th. Participants paddle in teams of 16 with a drummer, competing in short, synchronized races to raise funds and awareness.

Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival 2026

The LGBTQ+ Health & Wellness Fair is scheduled for August 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00. It offers a range of health services including HIV testing, cancer screenings, tobacco cessation, and other wellness programs tailored for the LGBTQ+ community. The event is organized by the Pride Center of Vermont and aims to address health disparities faced by LGBTQ+ individuals through education, testing, and support services.

This is the monthly gathering of Outright Vermont, an organization supporting LGBTQ+ youth. The event provides an opportunity for community members to connect, discuss ongoing initiatives, and plan future activities. It is scheduled to take place on October 1, 2026, from 18:00 to 20:00.

Join us for Pride on the Riverfront in downtown Burlington, Iowa, on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026. The event features a morning mindfulness session, a pride parade starting at Jefferson Street, a festival with live music, vendors, food, and activities along the Mississippi River, and concludes with a raffle and Pride After Dark celebration at Burlington Auditorium, including a drag show and dance party. On Sunday, June 28th, there will be a family-friendly Big Gay Brunch. The event aims to foster community, support, and celebration of LGBTQ+ pride.

A friendly but competitive gay men's volleyball league in the Burlington area. Games are played Sunday afternoons (4–6pm) year-round (drop-in style with a small fee for indoor play). The league is open to gay, bi, and trans men age 18 and older .

An LGBTQIA+ inclusive women's basketball league organized by Burlington Parks & Recreation. It welcomes players of all skill levels aged 18 and up and explicitly includes cis-women, trans, intersex, non-binary, and gender non-conforming individuals .

A statewide cycling club organizing monthly rides open to LGBTQIA+ people and their allies. Rides are beginner-friendly, open to all skill levels, and aim to expand inclusivity in Vermont cycling .

A weekly pickup soccer program in Burlington that is welcoming and inclusive of all skill levels (18+). It explicitly includes cis-women, trans, intersex, non-binary, and gender non-conforming players as part of its LGBTQIA+ inclusive community .
