ASD Gruppo Pesce Roma is an LGBT-oriented swimming club in Rome. Founded in 2001, it was the first openly LGBT sports association in the capital and has since been a reference point for the community in aquatic sports. The club is recognized by Italy’s sport authorities and serves as a focus for LGBT swimmers seeking an inclusive and friendly environment .

Libera Rugby Club is an inclusive amateur rugby club based in Rome, described as “the first gay and inclusive rugby club in Italy” . The organization promotes the spread of rugby within the LGBTQIA+ community .

RoMan Volley is the first gay volleyball association in Rome . The club fields teams in the Italian volleyball federation’s higher divisions (1st and 3rd Divisione FIPAV) and also has multiple amateur/beginner squads, offering an inclusive environment for volleyball players of all levels .
