Lupi Roma Outsport (LRO) is an LGBT-friendly soccer association in Rome. It organizes events such as the annual ‘Veni Vidi Daje’ five-a-side tournament to combat racism and homophobia . Organizers explain that Lupi Roma Outsport provides “a point of reference… for anyone seeking an amateur soccer environment attentive to all forms of discrimination… where gay, bisexual and heterosexual people share the locker room and where transgender and non-binary persons are welcome” .

Phoenix Roma is an amateur soccer team founded in Rome in 2014. The club’s goal is to play football as a way to “break down every type of discrimination”, and it participates in anti-homophobia tournaments both in Italy and abroad .
