Ottawa Date Squares

Lesbian Outdoor Group (LOG) provides opportunities for LGBT women in the Ottawa-Gatineau region to enjoy the great outdoors and socialize indoors. Members organize a wide variety of activities (year-round hikes, snowshoe walks, potlucks, dances, etc.) to connect the community .

Ottawa Birdies is an Ottawa badminton club founded in 2022 that aims to create a welcoming, inclusive community for players of all skill levels. The club emphasizes staying active, having fun, and building camaraderie through badminton .

The Ottawa TimeOut Hiking Club is a hiking and snowshoeing club for members of the LGBT community and their friends. Trail destinations are mostly parks in Eastern Ontario and West Quebec (from nearby Gatineau Park to as far as the Adirondack Mountains), with events from May to October and snowshoe outings in winter .

Rainbow Rockers Curling League has been Ottawa’s gay and lesbian friendly curling league for over 20 years. Beginning with 32 players, the league now has around 30 teams that play multiple days a week during their season .

The Gay Ottawa Volleyball (GOV) league is a volunteer, non-profit volleyball league catered mainly to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and LGBTQ+ community within the National Capital Region. The league provides an inclusive and fun environment .

Ottawa Frontrunners (OFR) is a running and walking club for members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and their friends in Ottawa. It is the National Capital chapter of the International Frontrunners, offering runs of various distances (typically 5–10 km) and welcoming runners of all abilities .

Ottawa Pride Hockey is an inclusive hockey club in Ottawa, founded and run by queer and trans individuals. It promotes a safe space for LGBTQ+ players of all skill levels, welcoming both beginners and seasoned players alike .
