The descent includes a larger loop over Königssteig to Kolbensattel and Steckenberg (1,388 m) back to Unterammergau. Along the way, participants can explore cultural highlights such as the mysterious Grottenweg with rock carvings and the Schleifmühlklamm with waterfalls and pools. The hike covers approximately 13 km, with 750 meters of elevation gain, lasting about 5 hours, suitable for moderate condition and technical difficulty.
