About
The Schwul-Lesbische Volleyball Liga (Gay & Lesbian Volleyball League) is an international league formed in 1992 as a joint project of LGBTIQ* clubs in Europe . It has grown from a Germany-only league to include teams from up to five countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland) . The league primarily features men’s teams but also has a women’s division and mixed-gender teams. It is open to all players of any sexual orientation, welcoming both LGBTQ and straight athletes who want competitive volleyball .
