FVV’s bowling group meets biweekly at a local bowling center (‘Bowl for Fun’ in Langen). Bowling is characterized as a precision sport requiring good concentration, technique and tactics . FVV notes that while bowling is enjoyable socially, competitive bowlers still train for fitness and focus to achieve sporting success .

FVV’s shooting section (Precision Sport Shooting) emphasizes concentration, inner calm and physical control. Training is held in cooperation with the Niederräder Sportschützenverein Oberst Schiel (Frankfurt-Niederrad). FVV describes shooting as a precision sport requiring harmonizing body and mind to hit targets, focusing on calm focus and endurance .
