About
The Metro Detroit LGBT Softball League (MDSL) was founded in 1985 and now comprises ~300 players of all abilities. MDSL fields teams every week from April through August and holds Sunday games; players then socialize at local LGBT bars after games. The league also raises funds and partners with charities, aiming to make participation affordable and accessible to the LGBTQ community .
