Queenstown Winter Pride, Southern Hemisphere's largest gay & lesbian winter festival. 9-day celebration typically late August/early September (2026 dates TBC) in Queenstown, New Zealand. Features skiing/snowboarding across multiple resorts: Cardrona (3 days), Coronet Peak (3 days), The Remarkables (2 days), with themed events including Togs in the Snow, Ride 'em Cowboys, Superhero Day. Over 24 parties including Kickstart party, opening party, Urge Party, Leather & Lace Party, games night, comedy night, karaoke, quiz nights, circuit-style parties, and Pride Wine Tour with Gibbston Valley Long Lunch. Daily après-ski at Smiths Bar with live music/DJs. Free ski/board/boots concierge service. Shared Table dinners for easy socializing. On and off-mountain activities. Draws hundreds of LGBTQ+ travelers from Australia, New Zealand and internationally for celebration of community in stunning alpine setting surrounded by mountains and Lake Wakatipu.
