Introducing our first team in the Mana Match - rocking red shirts is the Georgina Beyer Collective! This team is named after the groundbreaking politician, performer, and advocate. Georgina was the world’s first openly transgender mayor and MP. She used her platform to fight tirelessly for queer and takatāpui rights, sex workers rights, and the dignity of all marginalised communities. Her courage and leadership changed the political landscape of Aotearoa.
