The Washington DC Gaels - Hurling is the hurling branch of the LGBTQ+-friendly Gaels club. The Gaels have been active since 1988, welcoming players of all backgrounds to learn and play hurling, one of Ireland’s traditional stick-and-ball sports. The club competes against other hurling and Gaelic football teams and holds social events to strengthen community ties.
