Join us for the Vancouver premiere of 'Speak.', a documentary directed by Jennifer Tiexiera and Guy Mossman. This film follows five top-ranked high school students from across the U.S. as they compete in a national public speaking competition. Set against a backdrop of rising anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, these students channel their personal convictions into powerful performances that confront injustice. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with facilitators from Out In Schools. This event is part of 'The Future is Queer: Youth Programs at VQFF' and is free for youth under 25 and school groups.
