Science as Fiction Reading Group

The Spartacus Books hosts the 'Science as Fiction' Radical Readings series, alternating between scientific epistemology and science fiction stories exploring those epistemologies. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 20:00 to 22:00. Attendees will discuss chapters 5 and 6 ('Mutual Aid in the Medieval City') from Petr Kropotkin’s 'Mutual Aid'. Readings are free, and the event is drop-in. The venue is Spartacus Books, a community space in Toronto equipped with a projector and sound system, welcoming up to 12 people.
