The Rainbow Concert Band presents 'Pop Goes the Classics', a spring concert featuring George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue with pianist Ben Van Exan, celebrating ten years with host Rev Whoopsie Daisy. The event includes performances by Canada’s only LGBTQ2SIA+ concert band, directed by Topher Johnston, and offers an evening of artistry, humor, and community spirit. Doors open at 7:00 pm, with the show starting at 7:30 pm on May 2, 2026.
