The Dance Centre presents 'FakeKnot: MY HOUSE', a bold new work by Canadian-Filipinx choreographer Ralph Escamillan. Celebrating Ballroom Culture and familial bonds within the structure of a HOUSE, the performance features Voguers from the Canadian Scene, local Ballroom Commentators, and DJs. The show is subversive, joyful, and playful, using trompe l’oeil motifs, energetic beats, and expressive movement to promote self-liberation. Duration is approximately 75 minutes, with a post-show artist talkback on June 20. The event takes place in the Faris Family Studio at The Dance Centre, Vancouver.
