Queer Imaging & Riting Kollective for Elders. Since 2006, queer elders meet weekly in Vancouver to connect, care, and create community through writing, poetry, digital art, performance, and published anthologies.

Quirk-e

Registered charity providing financial aid to other charities supporting LGBTQ2+ refugees and asylum seekers. Started with co-sponsoring Syrian refugees and has grown into a broader support network.

Rainbow Foundation of Hope

Vancouver-based community group supporting LGBTQ+ and HIV+ refugee claimants in BC and across Canada. Provides outreach, public education, and sponsorship advocacy. Founded in 2000 and volunteer-driven.

Non-profit supporting and building the vogue/ballroom scene in Vancouver. Facilitates pay-what-you-can, open-to-all-levels weekly vogue jams and annual balls, centering LGBTQIA2+ and BIPOC communities.

Van Vogue Jam

Youth-led organization within the HIV and Hepatitis C movements. Takes a peer approach to sexual health, harm reduction, and stigma education, with staff, volunteers, and board members all being youth.

An online support and community event for youth aged 14-25 who are transgender.

This Black History Month, QMUNITY is highlighting and donating to Black-led organizations serving Black queer and trans communities. Vancouver Black Therapy & Advocacy Foundation is a Black-led and Black-serving organization that connects Black individuals and families facing barriers to mental healthcare to counselling services, patient navigation services and advocacy.

This program offers $1,000 in one-time funding to support gender-affirming facial or body hair removal services, including both temporary and permanent options. To qualify for the grant, you must be over 18, currently living in BC, and identifying as someone who experiences transmisogyny or trans misogynoir. This grant is inclusive but not limited to trans women, trans femmes, Two-Spirit people, and trans and gender-diverse folks who were assumed male at birth.
