Biola IDOWU(Abiola), a prominent painter and sculptor currently based in Brampton, ON, has successfully woven a tapestry of fine arts, public service, and entrepreneurship. Originally from Nigeria and of Yoruba descent, he infuses his artwork with a compelling fusion of traditional Yoruba heritage and a contemporary global perspective. Since his relocation to Canada in 2018, Abiola has been steadfast in building a robust art practice at his Brampton studio. His paintings uniquely showcase the depth of his Yoruba roots while seamlessly incorporating a modern global perspective.
