About this event

This gathering centres the voices and experiences of Afro-Caribbean 2SLGBTQI+ communities. State of Affairs is an opportunity for our communities to gather, connect, and unite. This open dialogue calls for us to open our hearts and minds. We are to celebrate, connect, and collaborate for a brighter future. Our queer and trans Caribbean communities have advocated and accomplished many milestones in advancing 2SLGBTQI+ liberation. While there is still work to do, we must acknowledge, recognize, and celebrate the work that was done for us, by us. There will be light refreshments and good conversations all-around!
