About this event
A day to remember and honour the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+). The red dresses are symbols representing lives stolen, voices silenced, and the ongoing fight for justice. This day was inspired by the REDress Project, an art installation by Métis artist Jaime Black.
