As a Two-Spirit, sober Indigenous trans woman and seasoned drag artist, she not only entertains but also uplifts her community through healing and empowerment. Her powerful journey as a Sixties Scoop survivor with Saulteaux, Cree, and Métis roots- highlights her resilience and dedication to advocacy within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. With over three decades of drag experience, her recent appearances in CBC’s 4th season of “Canada’s a Drag” and “Canada’s Drag Race Season 5” showcase her talent and humanity on a national platform. Holding multiple prestigious titles and being a celebrated celebrity tribute artist, Jaylene embodies sophisticated glamour while advocating for diversity and inclusion. Her commitment to inspiring others through the celebration of unique identities is a powerful testament to her impact on Canadian drag culture and beyond. She truly embodies the spirit of community and the beauty of individuality!
