About this event
An educational event hosted by the Olympic Yacht Club focusing on hands-on navigation through the Ballard Locks. Participants will learn line handling, lock etiquette, and safety procedures aboard the vessel Lunasea. The session includes guided instruction, beverages, light snacks, and safety equipment. The event takes place at Ballard Mill Marina, Seattle, WA, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 15:00 to 18:00. Participants are advised to arrive by land, bring layers and optional personal safety gear, and may share small dishes or drinks.
