San Juan’s LGBTQ+ community is one of the most visible in the Caribbean, centered in Condado and Santurce. Pride celebrations, beach parties, and queer-owned venues make it a tropical hub of joy, resilience, and community pride.

A musical in Spanish about a dreamy queer adolescent involved in drag, featuring Puerto Rican actors such as Jazael Rodríguez as Jamie and Denise Quiñones as his mother, Margaret. The performance takes place at Sala Experimental Carlos Marichal in the Centro de Bellas Artes, Santurce, Puerto Rico, with an intimate setting of 210 seats. The event is part of the sixth True Colors Fest, a long-standing arts festival in Puerto Rico focused on LGBTQ+ visibility and inclusion, including other LGBTQ+ themed works, a literary section 'Punto y Coma', and visual arts 'Arte con Orgullo'. Performances are scheduled from July 23 to July 26, 2026.

Todos Hablan de Jamie: TRUE COLORS FEST 2026

The challenge continues to be using borrowed clothes. Outfits, wigs, shoes, accessories and even the dancers' clothes... everything is part of the game. But for this sixth edition, we wanted to raise the stakes. Now you can also recreate the show, the talent or the concept of another transvestite colleague. We are not looking for who copies best. We are looking for the transformist with the creativity, talent and vision to take something the audience already knows and turn it back into a show capable of generating conversation, impact and ovations. The winner of Ropa Prestada Vol. 6: The Competition will receive a prize of $750 in cash. Do you accept the challenge? Send us a DM. We only have 6 spaces available. A drag competition where performers creatively use borrowed clothes to transform and recreate popular shows or concepts.

A concert honoring Willie Colón, featuring the Puerto Rico Philharmonic Orchestra under Maestro Ángel "Cucco" Peña, with special guest Miguel Colón and other invited artists. The event celebrates Willie Colón's legacy with a symphonic fusion of salsa and orchestral music, commemorating his last performance in Puerto Rico in 2025. The concert takes place at the Sala de Festivales Antonio Paoli, Centro de Bellas Artes, on September 19, 2026, at 8:00 PM.
