Join Our Family Coalition for a family-friendly, affirming, and accessible field trip to the Oakland Museum (OMCA) on February 27, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. In celebration of Black History Month, families will explore Black history through storytelling, art and crafts, and shared discovery. The event includes a guided museum tour, playful learning activities, and a celebration of Black communities' legacy and contributions. Families are encouraged to bring their own lunch and participate in accessible activities designed for young children and caregivers. The event is free, with accommodations available upon request.
