The 2026 AUSL Championship this weekend is going to be historic. The expanded playoff format kicks off with an elimination Play-In Game on Thursday, July 23, between the #2 and #3 seeds. The winner will immediately advance to a best-of-three series against the league's #1 seed. With the defending champion Utah Talons, a surging Chicago Bandits team, and the expansion Portland Cascade locked in a tight battle for those top three spots, the tournament is guaranteed to deliver.
