Vegans Who Snack Food + Art Festival with live music. This is the emergency storm date. Parkdale Market is a fully open, outdoor and paved space. There is a fully accessible washroom at the venue. Accessible parking spots inside the venue right near the entrance. Seating in the park includes a mix of picnic tables and pop up event tables. Some are accessible by paved paths. Bus stops run along Wellington West Street and Parkdale Ave close to the venue and we are a short trip from Tunney's Pasture. We will have live music and generators running all night so it will be loud, bring ear plugs if needed. Vegans Who Snack Information Booth: Extra staff will be at this station during the event and made available as needed for collecting items, providing navigation, market information, assisting with getting items to vehicles/tables. Free masks will be available at the info booth. Expect line ups. If you need support to wait in line visit info booth and a volunteer can help. Water bottles available at info booth. Check weather before coming and thinking about eating, drinking and resting as you go. On leash dogs welcome but check the weather before coming. Consider if your dog enjoys a busy environment. Bring water for your BFF and visit our dog treat vendor Doggo Cake and Treats. Anticipate Lineups and have an event buddy or break up who waits in what lines for more efficient shopping. Stay hydrated. Dress comfy and check the weather before coming. We only use our storm date for dangerous weather and will post here if there are any changes. We do not cancel for rain. Take breaks in the park as needed. Be patient and kind with vendors, this can be a high pressure event for our vendors. Check out the map before coming. It will be posted here and printed at the Info Booth. Visit Info booth for support. Bring cash, most vendors take cards but there is literally always tech issues. Nice to have a back up! Bring reusable containers and totes. We recommend a cooler for vegan grocery shopping. There is loads of neighbourhood parking around this venue (some paid until a certain time) but make sure to give yourself extra time to find a spot on a busy night like this. Stop by our neighbourhood small business pals like Morning Owl, who will be open and has seating if you need a little event break.
