R. Diskin Black will read from his new memoir poetry collection, 'The Night Of Swaying Grass,' and engage in a conversation with author and activist Benjamin Heim Shepard. The event explores themes of childhood loss, coming of age, resilience, and reinvention, reflecting on Black's life experiences from childhood in 1969 to involvement in activism and major historical events.
