About this event
The Lesbian Book Club's May Edition will take place on May 9, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bureau of General Services—Queer Division, located on the second floor (room 210) of The LGBT Community Center at 208 W. 13th St., NYC. The event involves reading and discussing fiction and non-fiction works by lesbian authors or related topics, with the group deciding on the reading list each month. For this session, the group will read Ntozake Shange's book, 'Sassafrass, Cypress & Indigo.' Registration is not required.
