About this event
Join astrologer Chani Nicholas and artist Molly Crabapple for an in-person discussion about Crabapple's book, 'Here Where We Live Is Our Country: the Story of the Jewish Bund.' The event will explore the history and lessons of the Jewish Bund movement, its relevance to contemporary issues of nationalism and solidarity, and how its principles can inspire social justice today. The conversation will be held on May 10, 2026, from 15:00 to 16:30 at The LGBT Community Center in New York City, with a live stream available on YouTube. A book signing will follow at the Bureau of General Services—Queer Division. The event is free, but tickets are required, with options including general admission, a ticket with a copy of the book, or a donation.
