ACT UP New York

A diverse, nonpartisan group committed to direct action to end the AIDS crisis. Formed in 1987 in response to government negligence and medical establishment complacency during the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Ali Forney Center

Founded in 2002, the Ali Forney Center is the nation's largest organization dedicated to homeless LGBTQ+ youth. Their mission is to protect LGBTQ+ young people from the harms of homelessness and empower them to live independently.

Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance (BAAD!)

A Bronx-based performing and visual art workshop space co-founded by Arthur Aviles and Charles Rice-Gonzales. Focuses on works exploring the margins of Latino and LGBTQ cultures through dance, visual art, and performance.
