Writing Across the Rainbow Writing Workshop

About this event

This is an ongoing monthly LGBTQIA+ writing workshop hosted by the New Orleans Pride Center, focusing on all aspects of writing—from initial ideas to publishing and sharing your work. The session on September 13, 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00, will be led by award-winning publisher, editor, and writer Sorella Smith, featuring guest presenters. Participants are encouraged to bring their own writing materials. The workshop welcomes all prose types, including poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, and aims to support storytelling, world-building, editing, and the journey toward publication.
