Basketball
2Basketball: Amazonen München e.V.
Amazonen München’s basketball section provides opportunities for women to play basketball in a friendly, community-focused environment. The club is recreational and emphasizes having fun and staying active together. All women who enjoy basketball are welcome, regardless of prior experience.
Team München (Basketball)
Korbschlampen is Team München’s basketball team, active for over 20 years. The team prioritizes fun and inclusivity, welcoming players of all skill levels, genders, and orientations (gay, straight, young, old). They participate in European LGBTQ+ basketball tournaments, having won medals at events like the Eurogames (gold in Berlin 2010). Regular practice takes place in Munich.

4Hiking: DAV Frauen* auf Tour
DAV Frauen* auf Tour is a Munich hiking group for lesbian/queer women (FLINTA*). It is part of the German Alpine Club. The group meets roughly once a month for guided hikes (typically moderate in difficulty) and emphasizes socializing, often taking extra breaks to chat rather than only communicating on the trail.
Table Tennis: Team München e.V.
Team München’s table tennis section is part of the largest LGBT+ sports club in Bavaria. It welcomes players of all identities (including allies) and holds regular practice sessions in Munich, providing a welcoming environment for everyone to play table tennis.
Team München (Badminton)
The badminton section of Team München offers weekly training and play for members of Bavaria’s largest queer sports club (over 1,000 members). The group provides multiple weekly sessions (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) for players of all levels and focuses on building community among LGBT+ athletes.
Soccer
2Soccer: Amazonen München e.V.
Amazonen München’s women-only club also offers soccer (football) activities. As a recreational women’s sports club, it focuses on enjoyment, community, and inclusiveness. Women of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in soccer and other sports together.
Team München (Football)
Team München’s football section (the Streetboys) was founded in 1994 and is Germany’s first official queer soccer team. The team trains twice weekly and competes in the Bavarian C-Klasse league. It also regularly participates in national and international LGBTQ+ football tournaments, with an emphasis on creating a welcoming environment for all genders and orientations.
Tennis
2InsideOut Munich e.V.
InsideOut Munich e.V., founded in 1997 as a tennis club for gay and lesbian players, is now open to the entire LGBT+ community. With around 70 members, it offers weekly tennis training (outdoor April–October, indoor winter) and competes in the Bavarian league. The club regularly takes part in GLTA international gay and lesbian tennis tournaments and hosts the annual “König Ludwig Cup” with over 100 participants.

Team München’s tennis section provides an environment where sport and community go hand in hand. Coaches support and encourage players, focusing as much on the fun of the game as on athletic performance, welcoming members from beginners to advanced levels.
Volleyball

Team München’s volleyball section provides training sessions for various skill levels (A, B, C teams) at a hall in Neuperlach. The team participates in mixed tournaments, having achieved victories such as winning the 2022 X-Mas tournament in Frankfurt. Volleyball players of any gender and background are welcome to join the inclusive, LGBT+ friendly team.
Volleyball: Amazonen München e.V.
Amazonen München is a women-only recreational sports club founded in 1987. It has around 80 members and offers indoor volleyball among its activities. The club emphasizes fun in movement and sports in a community atmosphere, and it welcomes women of all ages and skill levels.
