Hiking: Sonnjoch (2.457 m) with Frauen* auf Tour

About this event

A guided mountain hike starting from the Eng parking lot (1200m), ascending via a forest trail to the Binsalm (1502m), then continuing on a forest road and a steep, serpentine trail to the Binssattel (1900m). Participants will traverse the Gramaijoch and approach the Sonnjoch summit, which offers panoramic views of Lake Achensee, the Karwendel mountains, and the Hohe Tauern with Großvendiger. The hike involves 1350 meters of elevation gain over approximately 14 km, with an estimated duration of 8 hours. The route requires absolute sure-footedness and free movement in exposed terrain. The event is organized by Frauen* auf Tour, aimed at GOC members who identify as FLINTA*. The meeting point and exact departure time will be communicated closer to the date.
