Hiking: Frauen* auf Tour zum Kofel (1.342 m)

About this event

A guided mountain hike starting from Oberammergau, ascending the Kofel with some steep, rope-secured sections (T3). Near the summit, there's an optional 5-minute mini 'via ferrata' (T4), which can be bypassed for an easier route (T3). The descent includes a larger loop over Königssteig to Kolbensattel and Steckenberg (1,388 m) back to Unterammergau. Along the way, participants can explore cultural highlights such as the mysterious Grottenweg with rock carvings and the Schleifmühlklamm with waterfalls and pools. The hike covers approximately 13 km, with 750 meters of elevation gain, lasting about 5 hours, suitable for moderate condition and technical difficulty.
