Event information

Nördlicher Odeonsplatz

Join the Münchner Regenbogen-Stiftung for a guided city walk exploring the queer history of northern Munich. The tour begins at the former Odeon, where Karl Heinrich Ulrichs advocated for the decriminalization of homosexual acts in 1867. This walk will highlight various locations between the northern edge of the old town and Marienplatz, revealing their often-overlooked queer historical significance. The aim is to make the presence of LGBTIQ* in the city's history more visible. Admission is free.
