About this event
A scenic 10 km Grade 3 medium walk along paved and compacted dirt paths, starting from Beacon Cove Terminus in Port Melbourne. Participants will enjoy views of Port Phillip Bay and the Yarra River, crossing on the Westgate Punt. The walk includes passing through Maritime Cove Parkland, Westgate Park (lunch spot), and historic sites like the sewerage pumping station and Newport Power Station. The event concludes with a train ride from Newport Station back to the CBD. The walk is suitable for those comfortable with weather-appropriate attire and footwear.
