Join The Nomads Outdoors Group Inc. for a 10 km easy-moderate circuit walk around Blackburn Lake Sanctuary, a peaceful oasis in Melbourne's outer suburbs. The event features well-maintained gravel paths suitable for families and wheelchair users, with opportunities to observe diverse waterbird species and enjoy the shade of towering eucalypts. The walk starts at 11:00 AM from McCubbin Park near the roundabout at Central Rd/Lake Rd, and concludes by 4:00 PM. Participants are advised to carry lunch, snacks, and water, and wear comfortable walking footwear. The event is open to members and visitors, with tickets available online.
