About this event
Join The Proud Trust for the Youth Pride Parade Day at Manchester Pride. The event begins at The Proud Place from 9:30 AM for young people to get ready, have breakfast, and enjoy the Pride atmosphere. Between 10:30 and 11:00 AM, participants will walk together to the parade start line. The official walk time is at 12:00 PM, with activities and photo opportunities beforehand. After the parade, attendees will return to The Proud Place around 1:30 PM, where there will be live music, Drag School performances, a community art project, gender-affirming makeup sessions (bookable via Eventbrite), and other activities open to all. The event is suitable for youth organizations supporting LGBTQ+ young people and families with LGBTQ+ youth. Media consent forms are required for under 18s, to be completed by guardians one week prior. The location is 49-51 Sidney Street, Manchester M1 7HB.
