The Rainbow Train 2026

Join the Bury LGBTQI+ Forum for the return of The Rainbow Train on April 19, 2026. Departing from Bolton Street Station in Bury, this vintage rainbow-themed steam train will travel to Rawtenstall and back, offering a two-hour celebration with LGBTQI+ performances, music, and Pride energy. The event features performances by the House of Bridget Queens and the Bury Fire Choir, with entertainment at both the departure and arrival points. Funds raised support Bury Pride and the Bury LGBTQI+ Forum. Tickets are available for concessionary (£8), adult (£10), and family (£25) options. The schedule includes guest arrivals at 16:15, boarding at 16:50, departure at 17:00, arrival at Rawtenstall at 17:30, return departure at 18:30, and back in Bury at 19:00.
