Jonny Woo, a London-based alternative drag and cabaret artist, presents his acclaimed show 'Suburbia' at Pride in Trafford. The performance combines spoken word, storytelling, performance art, and rave, offering a poetic memoir of Woo's life from childhood in Kent to discovering ecstasy in the 1990s, exploring club scenes in New York, and building a queer community in London. Reflective and honest, Woo shares secrets and lessons learned, with a vibrant display of chiffon dresses, wigs, confessions, and fireworks. The show has previously played at Soho Theatre and Edinburgh Fringe, receiving critical praise and award nominations.
