Queer Sports Leagues in Madrid

GMadrid Sports’ basketball section is a long-running LGTBIQ+ team that welcomes players of all ages and backgrounds. They train with certified coaches from September to June and are affiliated with the Madrid Swimming Federation. The group’s common aim is to build a safe, inclusive and fun space for all members through the sport of swimming .

Madpoint is Madrid’s community tennis club for LGTBI+ players. Founded by enthusiasts inspired by the Gay Games of the late 1990s, it holds weekly matches every Saturday in Casa de Campo and organizes events like a pride tournament. Today it has over 80 tennis players from many countries , making it an open, multicultural club that welcomes anyone who enjoys tennis.

GMadrid Sports’ volleyball section is open to anyone interested in playing, within a supportive family atmosphere . It offers men’s, women’s and mixed teams, even a team for deaf players. All are led by experienced coaches. The section trains twice weekly and competes on weekends; players are grouped into beginners, intermediate and federated levels to match their skill . The focus is on enjoying volleyball together in an inclusive environment.
