The West Hollywood Oars (WHOars) is an LGBTQ+ rowing group in LA. Founded to compete in the 1998 Amsterdam Gay Games, it has since become a social squad connecting local gay and lesbian rowers (and their coaches and supporters) through community gatherings on Mother’s Beach and beyond .
