The City of West Hollywood participated in the 2025 World Pride Parade in Washington, D.C., on June 7, 2025, marking the 50th anniversary of Pride in D.C. The city showcased its pride with a float, attended by Mayor Chelsea Byers, Councilmembers John Erickson and Danny Hang, and city staff. The parade celebrated LGBTQ+ diversity, with floats and grand marshals, starting in Logan Circle and ending at the U.S. Capitol. West Hollywood allocated $80,000 for this participation, continuing its support for Pride events despite not participating in LA Pride that year.
