The UK Equality Dance Council (UKEDC) is a national organization (based in the UK) that promotes LGBTQ+ participation in dance sport (ballroom, Latin, etc.). Founded in 2006 (as the UK Same-Sex Dance Council), its mission is to represent equality dancers and competition organizers, set rules for equality dance competitions, and increase awareness and participation in dance competitions for the LGBTQ+ community . UKEDC provides advice and directories of LGBTQ+ dance competitions in the UK.
