About this event
Join the Queer Diary team at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre for an evening of nostalgia, crafting, and self-expression. Participants can design their own teen magazine, collage their fantasy prom-night, create a fanzine for their first crush, write a letter to their younger self, or draw a coming-of-age cartoon. All crafting materials are provided, including paper, scissors, felt-tips, gel pens, pencils, stencils, and old teen magazines for recycling into personalized zines. The event features instructions on folding a basic zine, zine inspiration, and a collaborative playlist of throwback tracks. Attendees are encouraged to bring personal items for inspiration, but it is not required. The event is suitable for adults and is LGBTQIA+ centered, promoting inclusivity and community safety. Tickets are Pay What You Can, and booking is essential as spaces are limited.
