About this event

A group study session exploring Māori & Pasifika feminist organizing in the late 20th century, focusing on key periodicals like Bitches, witches & dykes (1980-82) and Broadsheet (1972-1997). Participants will examine indigenous knowledge sharing, print as a diasporic medium, and diverging feminist publishing practices in the South Pacific. Led by Kaiya Waerea, the session includes browsing, reading, discussion, and concludes with food. The event prioritizes people of the South Pacific diaspora and indigenous communities.
