Storytelling from the Inside-out: Workshop on writing BIPOC stories from within

About this event

This workshop focuses on embracing personal narratives and cultivating wholeness as acts of resistance and hope. Participants are encouraged to collect memories related to their personal history, cultural background, and identity, such as recipes, songs, language, landscapes, and stories. The session includes an optional open-mic sharing segment, space for creative writing, and activities that promote connection and self-expression. Led by Ayla Vejdani, a storyteller and author, the workshop aims to normalize multilayered perspectives and foster a sense of belonging through storytelling.
