Fierce Dragons (飛雅龍) is Hong Kong’s first LGBT+ dragon boat team . Founded in 2017 by InterBank (an LGBT+ professional networking group of international banks), it was created as a community outreach project to showcase the spirit and competitiveness of LGBT athletes . The team emphasizes fun, friendship and pride and has achieved notable competitive success (finishing 7th out of 60+ teams in the Stanley International race and winning the Silver Cup at the 2023 Gay Games in Hong Kong) .

It comprises around 20 active members (expats and locals) and meets weekly for social runs on the Bowen Road Fitness Trail (typically 4–10 km) . The group emphasizes community and friendship, often gathering for coffee or breakfast after the Saturday morning run , and it also participates in local LGBT community events .
