Starting his musical journey in Hong Kong, Guido Balboa brings a sound shaped by his Dolce Vita roots and deep dives into Italian dance music's celebrated and overlooked corners. As he carves his place in the city, his mission gets clearer with every record: Make Italo Disco Great Again. Bright, driving, unapologetically romantic grooves designed for hands-in-the-air moments and late-night singalongs. Born in late-80s Antwerp amid Belgium's EBM and Big Beat scene, Youry grew up between worlds. The dancefloor obsession clicked after hearing Akufen at Montreal's Stereo in the early 90s, sparking a lifelong vinyl addiction and carefully catalogued collection. His DJ career took off in 2015 across Hong Kong's clubs and festivals including Shi Fu Miz, Sonar and Acadana. In 2018 he became a resident at 宀 Club, widely regarded as Hong Kong's first venue on par with the world's best.
