About this event
The crew known to bright up the place invites a hero of the deep, dubby and minimal - the inimitable XDB playing his singular brand of house music. XDB is a vinyl purist, founder of the Metrolux label, and a name to behold since 1993. While his own productions lean into dub techno, his 3-deck DJ sets are unpredictable. Drawing from a massive archive, XDB is a master of pacing, letting tracks breathe while dropping rare gems that leave crowds hunting for ID. Opening is the Hong Kong-based, UK-hailing duo of Ryan Doherty and Andy Smith merged as Lucents. They move between rare disco, classic tech house, and Detroit techno, anchoring their sound in deep, cinematic spaces.
